| Olive when she lived in her Beverly Hills mansion ~ In 1926 Olive lived at 627 Hillcrest Road in Beverly Hills. She bought the mansion from Hobart Bosworth for $65,000. Olive shared the house with her mother Sibbie. When Olive left Fox she sold the house and most of her furniture. She and Sibbie moved to a smaller home in Malibu. In 1929 Olive told reporters she was house hunting with fiance George O'Brien. That year she and Sibbie moved to the Romanesque Villa Apartments located at 1301 N. Harper Avenue in Hollywood. |

| Olive when she lived at The Romanesque Villa Apartments ~ In 1930 Olive moved to New York City to star in a play. It was a flop but she stayed in New York to pursue a stage career. After her first marriage ended in 1932 she rented a modest apartment at 59 West 10th Street. She lived there until 1934 when she married her second husband John Moeller. For the next seven years Olive lived with John and his father in a Long Island apartment. During World War 2 Olive moved to Iowa where she worked as WAC. She returned to California in 1945. |

| Olive when she lived on West 10th Street ~ Olive and her mother Sibbie both spent their final years at the Sunshine Mission. It was established in 1941 by Sister Essie Binkley West, an understudy of Aimee Semple McPherson. In 1947 Olive died at the mission at the age of forty-one. Today the Sunshine Mission, also known as Casa de Rosas, is the oldest womens shelter in Los Angeles. During the 1940's it was located at 558 South Wall Street. When that building was condemned the mission moved to 2600 South Hoover Street. |

| Residents at the mission in 1947 ~ Olive has a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame for her contribution to motion pictures. She was chosen to receive one of the first stars when the walk of fame was created in September 1958. Her name was drawn randomly from a list of nominees. In 2006 her forty-eight year old star got a Hollywood make-over. You can see Olive's star at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood. It is located on the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue. |
